You might not have noticed but the fact is WordPress by default displays .jpeg image format with only 90% of the quality of the original uploaded image, This is a measure to speed up your website without causing much chaos :)

Though this is not a big deal for writers and business bloggers, It does concern photobloggers. So in that case you can simply bypass the default behaviour of WordPress by placing the small WordPress code snippet inside the functions.php file of your current active theme

    For those who know the coding stuff, it’s all okay.
    But for me plugin works just find to compress the images without compromising the quality.
