Instagram is such a fun social media experience that it’s no surprise people want to include or embed their feeds on their WordPress sites. There are dozens upon dozens of plugins out there that will help you add your Instagram feeds, other peoples’ Instagram feeds, or single photos from any Instagram user to your site, but as always, some plugins are better than others. Here’s a list of some of our favorite Instagram plugins that can be used to integrate Instagram into your WordPress sites and projects.

1. Instagram Feed

The Instagram Feed plugin is an easy and awesome way to add your Instagram feed to your WordPress site. It’s completely responsive, can be used in widgets and on pages and posts, and totally customizable.

2. WP Instagram Widget

WP Instagram Widget is a bare bones Instagram plugin to use to add your Instagram feed to your site. It’s easy to set up and has little inherent styling so you can add your own CSS to go along with the rest of your theme.

3. Enjoy Instagram

This plugin lets you display your Instagram posts using widgets or shortcodes and allows them to be displayed both in grid OR carousel view, plus it’s responsive and customizable.

4. Simply Instagram

This plugin also lets you display your posts using widgets or a shortcode. It comes with the option to use the plugin with the prettyPhoto plugin, which creates a really nice, smooth lightbox effect.

5. Simple Instagram Embed



This very useful plugin lets you embed single Instagram photos into pages or posts. All you need to do is post the Instagram link and a desired max-width for the embed, and the plugin will take care of embedding the Instagram post for you.
