Duplicate Post is a really handy WordPress plugin that allows you to clone any of WordPress posts and pages. This makes it easy if you want to quickly create a page or post that’s really similar to one you already have — simply clone the file and make whatever changes you need, and you’re done.
With this plugin installed, there are several different ways that you can make a duplication. In the edit posts or edit pages section, you can choose the “Clone” option, which should appear along with the other actions (“edit”, “quick edit”, “trash”, etc). Another option available to you is to click on the “New Draft” option in that same section. Within the actual editing page, you can also click on the option to “Copy To a New Draft”, which should be above the “Move to Trash” link. You can also create a clone through the front end of your site by including the template tag in your template. This gives you the option to create a page/post clone when viewing the actual page or post on your front end as long as you’re logged in with admin permissions — you click on the clone link and then it’ll bring you to the draft of your new page/post clone.
