There are tons of Premium WordPress themes out there but when it comes to reliability and SEO Genesis framework by Studiopress and Thesis by DIYthemes are the two most trusted premium WordPress themes.

Both these Themes differs in many aspects like design approach,price etc but the similarity is,They fight for same title : Best Premium WordPress theme

This month here in WPStuffs. I will be covering more articles about these two rivals.Next month (April) you can expect a comprehensive summary of this poll and WordPress experts personal choices and opinions.

Lets find out who is the real winner…Vote for your favorite theme and if possible also leave short opinion about them in comment section.

Genesis / StudioPress hands down is my favorite. Since I have the Pro Plus Package, I can use their themes on as many sites as I want, so every time I create a new site, I always have a new design to choose from.

I did’t use Genesis, however I am sure Thesis is the best of all. I really love thesis. I just don’t want to migrate to other themes because I am happy with Thesis…:P

To be honest I haven’t tried both but I think my vote is for genesis since most of my friends use Genesis on their website.

I have used both of these frameworks and do hold licenses for both of them.. and honestly I can say that Thesis is the winner but it fails in marketing the theme to the core, but Genesis is equally good which is backed by string marketing and development team..

Both are great themes but If I had to vote it would be Genesis. Only two reasons first reason the themes look so beautiful and second reason the cost is reasonable and can use their framework for multiple sites.

  I can see a valid point there,If we subscribe for Pro plus package then we can get all current child themes and upcoming child themes.For Thesis 2 we dont have any such plan for buying skins.

Hello Vivek,, great post my friend. I’m a Studiopress kind of guy just because they do out standing work. I have using their themes from day one and will continue to use them.

I do tweak my themes just because I have always like changing the look until I find one I’m happy with.

  Once I was a Thesis user but after their recent update that is Thesis 2,I have migrated to genesis and Now I am using Genesis themes in all my blogs.

Hey Vivek,

Awesome idea for a poll. I’m pretty curious to see what people have to say about this. I personally think creating your own theme to stand out from the crowd is the best option. But I realize not everyone has the time for that.

  Very true Mark,creating own theme is best option but many newbie bloggers wont have enough money to do that.
  
  Nowadays, instead of making a whole new theme you can create a child theme which will be much easier to develop and design.
