Don’t you hate when you publish a post and then realize minutes, hours, or even days later that you forgot to include a certain component — maybe you forgot to assign the post to a particularly category, or you didn’t set a featured image. With the Requirements Checklist plugin, you’ll never publish a post again that doesn’t contain all the elements you want. The unique plugin allows admins to require certain fields to be completed before a page or post can be published.
The fields you can make required are as follows:
- title
- main editor field
- featured image
- excerpt
- categories (you can define a min/max number of categories that should be assigned to each post/page)
- tags (you can define a min/max number of tags that should be assigned to each post/page)
- taxonomies (you can also define a min/max number of taxonomies)
The plugin works with custom post types as well.
